    Why this change?📎

    Previously, rushing an order or receipt meant contacting your CS team and hoping it didn’t get overlooked. Rush Requests bring this process directly into Smart Visibility, giving you clear visibility and better organization.

    What's new? 👀

    • A new Rush Request flow accessible directly from the Smart Visibility Home View
    • Search and select any active, eligible order or receipt you need to expedite
    • Include key details like shipment deadlines, customer expectations, or special instructions before submitting
    • Smart Visibility automatically notifies your office coordinator or warehouse manager on your behalf, no manual emails needed
    • An in-app alert is created automatically upon submission and is accessible in the Alerts drawer
    • Rushed orders and receipts are tagged with a "Rush" tag so you and your team always know which items have been expedited

    • Faster turnaround on urgent orders and receipts
    • Full visibility into your rush requests directly within Smart Visibility

  2. Update: Search Results are Now Filtered and Chatter Tagging is Expanded

    Search results can get overwhelming, but not anymore. Now, any filters applied to your view, like warehouse, client, or status, automatically carry over to your search. That means faster, more targeted results every time.

    We also fixed a gap for warehouse communication. Smart employees can now tag customers directly in Chatter on orders and receipts, helping everyone stay aligned in real time.

    Why this change? 📎

    Search results have been overwhelming for users, particularly warehouse managers. At the same time, client users weren't able to be tagged in Chatter. We've addressed both to make search more focused and Chatter more collaborative.

    What's changing? 👀

    • Existing filters (previously available on the home, map, and list pages) are now applied to search results, including additional filter support from the map key legend
    • When no filters are selected, search returns all available data. When one or more filters are applied, results are scoped to only those matching the filter selections
    • Internal users with access to Chatter can now tag client users on orders relevant to them. Previously, only other internal users could be tagged

    • Faster, more focused search results without scrolling through unrelated matches
    • Greater control over what you see in search by leveraging filters you already use
    • Easier collaboration with clients directly within relevant orders and receipts in Chatter

  3. 🚀 We've introduced live Map updates, Inactive bubble tagging, and Chatter Search

    We've introduced a set of improvements to the Map, Search, and Chatter experience to help you stay more informed and navigate faster.

    Why this change?📎

    As your visibility into shipments and warehouse activity grows, so does the need for real-time awareness and quicker navigation. These updates bring live Map feedback, clearer bubble status distinctions, and faster access to the right Chatter conversations.

    What's new? 👀

    • Live bubble updates on the Map now pulse in real time, so you can see activity as it happens without refreshing
    • A new Live/Paused indicator button in the top right of the Map page, next to the filter button, lets you see the current status of the Map at a glance and toggle between live and paused at any time
    • Bubbles for cancelled orders/receipts or those completed the previous day will now display an "INACTIVE" tag, making it easier to distinguish them from active bubbles in Search results across all bubble types
    • A new Search bar in Chatter lets you filter your conversations by chat name or user, making it faster to find the specific Chatter conversation you need

    • Real-time awareness of Map activity without manual refreshing
    • Full control over when your Map is live or paused

  4. 🚚 NEW: Parcel Tracking Visibility

    We've introduced Parcel Tracking to provide real-time visibility into shipments after they leave the warehouse, giving you a clear, map-based view of orders in transit so you can better anticipate timing and respond quickly to potential delays.

    Why this change?

    Once orders leave the warehouse, tracking can become fragmented and less transparent. Parcel Tracking closes that gap by bringing delivery visibility directly into Smart Visibility, so you always know where your shipments stand.

    What's new?

    • A new Parcel Tracking view in Map View
    • Parcel Tracking data displayed in the List View table
    • Real-time visibility into shipment location after dispatch
    • A centralized tracking experience directly within Smart Visibility
    • Carrier filtering to quickly narrow down shipments by carrier, currently only available for shipments on Smart's FedEx account
    • Delivery confirmation photos accessible directly in the Details drawer for individual orders
    • Custom date range selection for more flexible timeframe filtering

    • Greater transparency into shipment status from warehouse to doorstep
    • Better ability to anticipate and mitigate delays

  5. We've made Chatter file sharing more reliable and improved dynamic filtering on your Home Page.

    Small friction points add up. Whether you were running into issues uploading files with spaces in their names, or noticing that your Home Page widgets weren't reflecting your active filters, these gaps slowed you down. We've addressed both so your experience is smoother and more consistent.

    What's changing?

    • Chatter now supports file names with spaces — uploads will no longer fail due to spaces in the file name
    • The "Locations with Highest Order Count" widget on the Home Page now dynamically refreshes based on your active filters
    • The widget will always reflect only the top locations relevant to your current view

    What this means for you

    • No more workarounds when uploading files with spaced names in Chatter
    • A more accurate and responsive Home Page that updates as you filter
    • Greater confidence that the data you're seeing matches your active context

With Chatter linking, you can easily bring relevant messages and files from direct or group chats into Order or Receipt conversations—eliminating the need to resend, copy, or recreate information. With Bonnie attachments, you can get answers better tailored to your needs in an easier way.

    What’s changing?

    • You can now link messages from direct/group chats to order/receipt conversations
    • You can instantly reshare useful text and attachments where they're needed
    • Linked content preserves the original information for easy reference
    • Sharing across conversations is now faster and more streamlined
    • You can now upload attachments to Bonnie for more informed processing

To make collaboration faster and more natural, we’ve made it possible to message anyone you have access to in Smart Visibility—without needing to tie the conversation to a specific transaction. This gives you the freedom to connect with the right people, exactly when you need to.

    • You can now send direct messages to individual users
    • You can create group chats with multiple participants
    • Messages no longer need to be tied to an Order or Receipt
    • You can start conversations with anyone you have access to in Smart Visibility

  8. Unread Chatter

    We’ve introduced Unread Chatter to help you stay on top of every conversation—whether you’re in the app or away.

    Why this change?

    Conversations don’t stop when you log out—and now, neither does your visibility into them. We’ve added Unread Chatter so you can clearly see how many new messages you’ve received, even if they arrived while you were offline. This ensures you never miss important updates and can jump right back in without guessing what’s new.

    What’s changing?

    • You’ll now see a count of unread messages within Chatter
    • While logged in, you’ll continue to receive notifications for new incoming messages
    • While logged out, we’ll now track new messages so your unread count is ready when you return
    • All unread messages will be clearly indicated so you can catch up quickly

    What this means for you

    • Immediate visibility into new conversations and updates
    • Confidence that no messages are missed while you’re away
    • Faster catch-up when logging back in
    • A more seamless and connected messaging experience

  9. Status Update — “On Ice” → “Paused”

    We’ve updated the “On Ice” order status to “Paused” in Smart Visibility.

    Why this change?

    As Smart Visibility continues to evolve, we’re refining language to better reflect how orders move through the fulfillment process. The term Paused more clearly communicates when an order is temporarily on hold due to timing, scheduling, or logistical considerations—without implying anything about temperature or handling requirements!

    What’s changing?

    • The label “On Ice” has been renamed to “Paused”
    • The behavior, timing, and workflows remain unchanged
    • Orders already in this state will continue naturally through their lifecycle

    What this means for you

    • Clearer insight into order timing and readiness
    • More intuitive separation between logistical status and other order attributes
    • A smoother, more consistent experience when reviewing active orders

  10. New Report: Inventory Age

    📊 New Report: Inventory Age

    The Inventory Age Report is now available in Smart Visibility, giving clearer insight into how long products have been sitting in storage across locations.

    Who can access this report

    • The Inventory Age Report is included in the Performance plan
    • All customers currently have access during the free trial period, so you can explore the report and its insights right away

    What this report helps with

    This report shows the average number of days inventory has been in stock, making it easier to:

    • Identify slow-moving products
    • Monitor inventory turnover
    • Spot aging inventory before it becomes a problem

    How Inventory Age is calculated

    Inventory Age is calculated using a weighted average that considers both time and quantity:

    • Each SKU’s days in stock are multiplied by the number of units on hand
    • Those totals are added together
    • The result is divided by the total number of units

    This ensures products with higher quantities are accurately represented.


    What’s included (and excluded)

    Included:

    • Active SKUs
    • SKUs with inventory greater than zero
    • All locations within the selected timeframe

    Excluded:

    • Today’s data (to ensure accuracy and consistency)

    Summary cards at a glance

    Alongside the chart, summary cards provide quick context:

    • Average Age of Inventory – overall aging in days
    • Active SKUs – products active during the selected timeframe
    • Total Inventory Units – total units on the final day of the timeframe

    Helpful details built in

    • A built-in info panel explains what the report shows and how the numbers are calculated
    • Timeframes can be adjusted to analyze trends over different periods
    • Visual charts make it easy to spot patterns and outliers quickly - click inside the chart to unlock more details!
